The Cisco ASR1006 Dubai efficiently deploys multiple services within the Cisco QuantumFlow Processor, delivering exceptional performance at speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Services supported by the Cisco Packet QuantumFlow Processor include an array of features such as security services (including encryption and firewall capabilities), quality of service (QoS), Network Based Application Recognition (NBAR), Cisco IOS Flexible Packet Matching, broadband aggregation, and session border control, among others.
The Cisco ASR1006 Dubai, packaged in a versatile 6-rack unit (RU) form factor, stands as the most adaptable edge routing solution within the Cisco ASR 1000 Series. Offering the option for dual route processor and embedded services processor support, it boasts a 10 Gbps throughput capacity. Additionally, it can support up to 12 shared port adapters (SPAs), making it the solution with the highest port density among the three Cisco ASR 1000 Routers.
