The Cisco Catalyst3850-24L Dubai represents a stackable switch tailored for enterprise-level operations, integrating 24 Ethernet UPOE ports within the LAN Base feature set. Supporting a remarkable 800W UPOE per switch and 60W per port, it ensures robust power capabilities for various networking demands. Additionally, the Cisco Catalyst3850-24L Dubai Series Switches offer support for five optional network modules for uplink ports, although the network module is not included in the default switch configuration.

Featuring Cisco’s widely acclaimed StackPower technology, the Cisco Catalyst3850-24L Dubai is equipped with an innovative power sharing and redundancy system available exclusively on the Cisco 3850 series of switches. This configuration facilitates two power pooling topologies within the stack. Firstly, the power sharing mode aggregates and subsequently distributes power among the stack, dynamically allocating power where it is most needed. Secondly, the redundant mode surveys the stack, identifying the supply with the highest wattage, and reserves its usage for potential failures. In this mode, power is distributed to the stack from the remaining power supplies. Upon activation of the reserved power supply, the stack seamlessly transitions to the power sharing mode automatically. This groundbreaking technology eliminates the necessity for an external RPS (Redundant Power Supply) unit, allowing users to effortlessly incorporate additional power supplies for enhanced redundancy or to augment the available power pool.
