MACsec serves as a security technology enabling traffic encryption at the physical layer, ensuring secure server, border leaf, and leaf-to-spine connectivity. SSX, a hardware-based component, consists of a module that extracts statistics from the ASIC and transmits them to a remote server for comprehensive analysis. Through this application, users can gain deeper insights into network performance without impacting the switch control plane or CPU.
