The Cisco Catalyst3560X-48L Dubai stands as a standalone switch with 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports, lacking a stacking option within the LAN base feature set. Offering versatility through four optional network modules and license-based software features, it provides flexibility, scalability, and feature extensibility while minimizing the cost associated with evolving business needs. The LAN base feature set supports up to 255-VLANs, offering comprehensive layer 2 features, including static routing and SVI interface support.

Primarily designed for enterprise access layer switching, the Cisco Catalyst3560X-48L Dubai allows seamless software feature upgrades. Customers can achieve this by purchasing either an IP base license or IP services license to activate layer 3 capabilities and support up to 1005 VLANs. The switch is initially equipped with one default power supply module, and for enhanced power redundancy, customers have the option to acquire an additional power supply module to insert into power supply bay 2.
