Adaptive Policy simplifies and scales security policies by segmenting traffic using Security Groups. These groups are easily created in the dashboard, using natural language like “IOT device” and “Guest.” The security policy intent, such as Permit or Deny, can then be easily applied between the Security Groups, resulting in the segmentation of traffic for each group. Adaptive Policy makes it intuitive and scalable to manage security policies compared to traditional IP-address based Access Control Lists.
This empowers network operators to confidently secure their traffic, regardless of future network changes. StackPower simplifies and ensures resilient power distribution across the stack by pooling and distributing power through a series of StackPower cables. All Meraki switches are managed through a user-friendly cloud-based interface, eliminating the need for complex command line configurations. To set up a Meraki switch, simply plug it in. CLI is not required for switch configuration or port management.
