Description

Meraki MX64 Dubai

The Meraki MX64 Dubai is a comprehensive solution that combines a router, next-generation firewall, traffic shaper, and Internet gateway. This all-in-one device can be managed centrally through a web interface. The MX64 offers a wide range of features and is incredibly simple to deploy and manage. With its intuitive web-based administration, specialized training and dedicated staff are not required. Additionally, the cloud-based centralized management feature allows for seamless multi-site networks, automatic firmware upgrades, and more. One of the key features of the Meraki MX64 Dubai is its support for intrusion prevention (IPS) through an integrated Sourcefire engine. IPS is achieved through rulesets, which are pre-defined security policies that determine the required level of protection. To ensure protection against the latest vulnerabilities, including exploits, viruses, rootkits, and more, Sourcefire updates the rulesets on a daily basis. These updates are then pushed to MX customers via the cloud within an hour, eliminating the need for manual staging or patching. In addition to threat protection, the Meraki MX64 Dubai also includes integrated malware/anti-phishing and cloud content filtering. This combination of features provides network administrators with a robust security solution. Furthermore, the MX64 supports Power Over Ethernet (POE), although licensing for this feature is sold separately.
