The 10GbE-ready Qnap TS-870U-RP Dubai includes 2 in-built Gigabit Ethernet ports, which can be expanded with additional 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, or 4 10Gigabit Ethernet ports and delivers excellence performance with 1,000 MB/s throughput and 100,000 IOPS, improving the efficiency of virtualization applications via both NFS and iSCSI protocols. The TS-870U-RP supports VMware VAAI and Microsoft ODX to increase performance by offloading ESXi server loading, and supports QNAP vSphere Client plug-in and QNAP SMI-S provider to provide enhanced operational efficiency in managing virtualization applications.

The Qnap TS-870U-RP Dubai supports multiple port-trunking modes, enabling IT administrators to set up link aggregation to increase total data transmission capability. The supported port-trunking modes include : Balance-rr (Round-Robin), Active Backup, Balance XOR, Broadcast, IEEE 802.3ad, Balance-tlb (Adaptive Transmit Load Balancing) and Balance-alb (Adaptive Load Balancing).
