When the total power consumption of all PoE+ devices equals or exceeds 150 W, a priority system comes into play among the 8 PoE+ ports. In this scenario, the system will automatically disable the power supply to the lowest-priority port, preventing potential overloads.

Port Priority Function

Priority Order (port 1 > port 2 > port 3 > port 4 > port 5 > port 6 > port 7 > port 8): This feature serves as a protective measure against system power overload. For instance, if Ports 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 are each utilizing 30 W (the maximum power per port being 30 W), resulting in a total system power consumption of 150 W (indicated by a green PoE max LED when all PoE PDs consume >= 150W), adding an additional PD to Port 5, requiring 20 W, will prompt the system to disable Port 6 to ensure system protection. Consequently, Ports 1, 2, 3, and 4 will consume 120 W, Port 5 will utilize 20 W, and no power will be delivered to Port 6.
