The Tplink TL-SG3428MP Dubai PoE Managed Switch is equipped with four SFP slots, offering the capability for logical clustering and the expansion of scalable fiber networks (SFP module not included). Additionally, it boasts 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports with PoE support compliant with 802.3af/at standards. The switch provides a substantial PoE budget, allocating 30 watts per port and a total of 384 watts.
Furthermore, the Tplink TL-SG3428MP Dubai switch supports dual stack IPv4/IPv6 with 16 IP interfaces. It features enterprise-class QoS capabilities (IEEE 802.1p CoS/DSCP, 8 queues, SP, WRR, SP WRR priority modes), intelligent multicast forwarding through IGMP snooping v1/v2/v3, access control lists (ACLs) for resource access restriction, and a voice VLAN, all of which enhance traffic management and optimization for voice and video applications.
To ensure secure management, it provides a standard Web User Interface (GUI) with HTTPS protection using either SSLv3 or TLS1.2 encryption (depending on the device’s operating system). Additionally, it supports a Command Line Interface (CLI) accessible through console ports (RJ-45 and microUSB) and telnet with SSHv1 and SSHv2 encryption, safeguarding against eavesdropping and sniffing.
